Prior to a break for lunch, delegates participated in a thought provoking discussion session were they were asked to look at the ways in which strategy had been successfully turned into reality on the ground.

Delegates were also encouraged to examine ways in which these examples of success and good practice could be further enhanced in the future.

The conference kicked off in the afternoon with a panel discussion examining good practice in how criminal justice agencies engage with victims and witnesses.

This was followed by a second discussion opportunity led by Dr Michael Maguire.

The conference concluded with delegates being provided with the opportunity to examine CJI’s Draft Inspection Programme for 20010-11
