CJI responds to the Justice Committee on the Domestic Abuse Bill

CJI has responded to a request from the Committee for Justice for comments on the Domestic Abuse and Family Proceedings Bill 2020.

CJI’s views were based on the findings and recommendations made in the recently published ‘No Excuse’ thematic inspection report on how the criminal justice system handles domestic violence and abuse.
