Equality
CJI is a designated public authority under Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998. As such CJI complies with the two statutory duties:

The Equality of Opportunity duty; and
-
The Good relations Duty.
CJI reports annually to the Equality Commission on progress in its section 75 duties, publishes an Equality Scheme, Disability Action Plan and section 75 screening reports.
Equality is a core element of CJI’s inspection framework.
