07/07/2017
Criminal Justice Inspection Northern Ireland (CJI) has today published its Annual Report and Accounts for 2016-17.

The report, which was approved by the Comptroller and Auditor General of the Northern Ireland Audit Office, outlines the work undertaken by the Inspectorate during the course of the last financial year.

“I am pleased to see that once again, the Inspectorate has secured a clean audit certificate from the Comptroller and Auditor General, who recorded that he had no observations to make in relation to the financial statements supplied to him,” said James Corrigan, Criminal Justice Inspection Northern Ireland’s Chief Executive and Accounting Officer.

“I also have pleasure in submitting this report to the Northern Ireland Assembly, and placing on record the valuable work carried out by CJI during the course of the 2016-17 financial year,” said Mr Corrigan.
