Annual Report and Accounts 2025-26 published

Criminal Justice Inspection Northern Ireland’s (CJI’s) Annual Report and Accounts for the financial year 2025-26 was published today. It includes our Performance Report detailing what we achieved against our Business Plan objectives and targets.  We are pleased to report that the CJI Team achieved 27 out of 28 targets, with the remaining target paused in-year due to budgetary pressures.

The Annual Report also includes the Accountability Report and Financial Statements that show how CJI meets its key accountability requirements as a Corporation Sole and how we used our allocated budget.

The report demonstrates our transparency and accountability and provides a summary of CJI’s inspection activity and what we have delivered.
