CJI praises PPANI contribution to public safety

CJI’s Acting Chief Inspector Brendan McGuigan praised the contribution made by PPANI to public safety when he was invited to address guests attending the launch of its Annual Report at Parliament Buildings.

Mr McGuigan praised the commitment and dedication of representatives from the criminal justice sector and beyond involved in this crucial area of work.  He also drew attention to the success which could be achieved through partnership working.

“PPANI is leading the way in terms of partnership working within Criminal Justice,” he said

The event was attended by Justice Minister David Ford MLA and the Chairman of the Justice Committee Paul Givan MLA.  They were joined by ACC George Hamilton (PSNI) , Pam Hunter (NEXUS), Geraldine O’Hare, Head Of Programmes and Interventions with PBNI and other colleagues involved in the public protection arrangements
